"A guy who is a great friend"

Remembered by Marvin Robbins:

I knew Dickie when we were both about 15. He was one of the guys who I hung around with that year. We all used to meet at Buddy Drew's house (down by Davenport Park). Dickie was a really nice guy...pretty quiet, but very friendly. I happened to be visiting in New Rochelle when he passed away. I attended his viewing, and it was evident that he had a loving family and many, many friends who he left behind. He had worked at the College of New Rochelle where he was also fondly remembered. May he Rest In Peace.
