Susan E. Rose, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, passed away peacefully at her home on October 30, 2014. She was 67. She was a devoted daughter, sister and aunt. Susan was born on November 9, 1946 in New Rochelle, to the late Andrew F. and Dorothy E. (Kelly) Rose. She was a graduate of New Rochelle High School and Iona College. She was retired from the Westchester County Health Department where she worked for over 35 years. She was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church. Her life was one of quiet generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand. 

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two loving brothers Andrew Jr. (Pamela) and Richard (Louise) as well as her cherished nieces and nephews, Andrew J. (Kristen), Kaitlin, Marie (Adam), Jaclyn, Richard and Andrew III. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in her name to her favorite charities: St. Judes Research Hospital, Alzheimer’s Association or The Arthritis Foundation.
