Martin J. Polonsky
"Marty"
February 6, 1946 - August 4, 2006

"Wise to resolve; patient, also"

Remembered by Alan Frumin:

Marty was my best friend in high school, and here is some more biographical information about him.  After getting his B.A. at the University of Rochester in 1968, he earned his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Tennessee, in Knoxville, TN. He then taught and practiced psychology in Chattanooga, TN, until the late 1980’s, when he moved to Los Angeles to accept a fellowship from USC.  He remained in Los Angeles until his death.  He fought a courageous battle against Parkinson’s disease for the last 20 years of his life.
