Phillip Gerhardt

 "Leo"
February 25, 1946 - December 18, 2016
 "He can out-quip you anytime"

Remembered by Dick Tobin:
I just learned that my friend, and our classmate, Phil Gerhardt passed away yesterday after a prolonged illness. Phil and I were on the swim team together and shared a lot of great memories.

Remembered by Bruce Stevens:
Phil was a great guy to hang with in high school. We were always able to talk cars and he really knew his "stuff'. Phil was a funny guy making many unusual quips for the times. My condolences go out to his entire family. Certainly gone too soon.

Published by Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, Mamaroneck, NY, Dec. 19, 2016:
Phillip Gerhardt, 70, our beloved father passed away on December 18, 2016. He is survived by his two children, Phillip and Samantha, and his grandchildren, little Phillip and Luke. He was born to Marie and Phillip “Sonny” Gerhardt on February 25, 1946 at New Rochelle Hospital. Phillip also leaves behind his sister, Marie Paladino and brother, Donald Gerhardt. He was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews who loved him very much.

>As a young man, Phil proudly served his country as a soldier in the United States Army. He went on to school for engineering and eventually owned his own electrical contracting business, Park Lane Electrical. Phil not only found joy in his work, but loved spending time on his boat and camping out on Pine Island. Phil will be remembered for his outgoing personality, loyalty to friends and family, and above all his sense of humor.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Calvary Hospital.
