Richard Aronow

Jed Levine wrote:

Richie Aronow was one of the original far-North Enders who began the journey with us in kindergarten at Roosevelt, then first grade at Washington and finally Davis for second grade and beyond.

During the Davis years, perhaps through the fourth or fifth grades, his absences became longer and more frequent, until he ultimately succumbed to fatal illness in childhood.

The details are lost to time, but he was a friend and I remember him well; other early North Enders might remember him, too. Richie was one of us from the very beginning, and was one of our youngest losses, which is why I suggested placing his name on the In Memoriam list for the Class of 1964.
